Barolo Cerretta DOCG 2015

We’re proud to have added the Cerretta 2015 to our range. This excellent Barolo has been awarded Gold with 95 points in Decanter Magazine and the coveted Tre Bicchieri (“3 Glasses”) award for the best Italian wines released in 2020 by Gambero Rosso. Wines honoured with a Tre Bicchieri award are generally recognised as Italy’s best wines.

The Nebbiolo grapes are from the best south facing slopes in one of the great Serralunga d’Alba vineyards. Aged in oak for 2 years it produces scents of red berries, tobacco, pepper and white flowers. The wine is perfectly balanced and has intense flavours of red berry fruits that are clean with a long finish for such a young Barolo. Pair with roast meat or hard cheese. With only 3,000 bottles of this excellent 2015 vintage, you can also lay this beauty down for another 5 to 20 years to develop and increase in value.
