This is the flagship wine of the Cantina Sant’Isidoro made from 70% Sangiovese and 30% Montepulciano. It’s a medium-bodied wine that’s wonderfully balanced with intense black cherry fruit and vanilla flavours. Open up or decant for an hour or so to let the clove spiced tannins soften to give a long, smooth and silky finish. If you like top quality Chianti Classico, once you’ve drunk this beauty, you’ll never go anywhere else.

    Smooth wine, no acidity, lovely red fruits flavours, medium dry, not aggressive for 14%. Lovely expression of Sangiovese grape
    Great with a vegetables risotto and cheeses!
