BACCARETO Famoso Mercato Saraceno DOC Organic 2023

Never heard of Famoso? We’re on a mission to make it Famous. This native grape varietal of Mercato Saraceno nearly became extinct but in recent years thanks to families like the Benedetti’s it’s enjoying a mini revival. It’s an elegant and aromatic white that is light yellow in colour. It has fine, elegant aromas of tropical fruit with a subtle floral note. To taste, it has notes of apricots, peaches, with a balanced acidity that feels soft and clean in the mouth with a very long mineral finish.

A perfect summer aperitivo quaffer but matches all year round with sushi and seafood dishes as well as light pasta sauces, salads and mild cheeses.
