Iris Spumate

This is an elegant, well-balanced dry sparkling wine from our new award-winning producer, Le Carezze.  Made from fungus-resistant Sauvignon Kretos grapes that are dried (appassimento) for 3 to 4 weeks before gently pressing. The wine has hints of tropical fruit, but the limestone and clay soil is the key to its elegant full-bodied structure.  

This is a perfect aperitif wine with canapes and nibbles but has enough body to work well with sushi, grilled fish and seafood pasta dishes.
