Petto Dragone Etna DOP Rosso

Petto Dragone, literally translated as the Dragons Chest is the flagship wine from the Gambino Family. Made with 100% Nerello Mascalese which is the most important grape varietal of the Etna region. The wine is aged in large barrels for 16 months to give subtle oak notes without overpowering the delicate red cherry fruit flavour of the wine. The result is a well balanced wine with good tannic structure enabling bottle aging for up to 10 years or more.

Drink this now with hard cheeses and cured meats or with a roast lamb and all the trimmings.
