TAIBO Romagna Sangiovese DOC Superiore 2023 Organic

Made from carefully selected, hand-picked Romagna Sangiovese grapes and aged in traditional, temperature controlled, cone-shaped oak tanks before bottling. The proximity to the Adriatic coast combined with the clay and limestone soil of the Savio valley product create a Sangiovese that is less acidic, more rounded and softer than you often get from Tuscany. The oak aging adds a level of complexity resulting in a perfectly balanced wine. It has a ruby red colour with aromas of fresh red fruit, blackberry, and cherry. In the mouth it is clean, and well-balanced with a long finish of soft, sweeter tannins combined with hints of vanilla.

A perfect match for a Sunday roast or with the region’s famous cured meats and salami’s.
