Bright ruby red in colour, this steel-aged Nero di Troia offers fresh, vibrant aromas of red cherry, wild berries, and violet, with subtle herbal and mineral notes. On the palate, it's medium-bodied and fuit-forward with gentle acidity and soft tannins. The absence of oak allows the grape's natural elegance and purity to shine, finishing with a hint of spice and earthy undertones. Serve with pasta sauces and cured meats but works amazingly slightly chilled with grilled barbeque meats and sausages.
