Vanni I.G.T. Bianco Veronese

This is the only white wine in the Vantorosso range, so it had to be special. From Vanni’s vineyard in neighbouring Soave, it’s a blend of 50% Garganega, 25% Chardonnay and 25% Sauvignon. The wines are fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks for about 15 days when half is transferred to traditional clay “Amphora” tanks and the rest into French oak. After 3 months the wines are blended back together and aged a further 3 months in the bottle prior to release.

The result of all this work is an elegant, rich wine with delicate aromas of ripe pear, citrus blossom, and white peach with a touch of vanilla from the oak. On the palate a gentle acidity is balanced with a blend of peach and citrus flavours. It pairs well with a variety of dishes, from grilled seafood and roasted chicken to creamy pasta and fresh salads. Whether enjoyed on its own or paired with food, this exquisite blend is an absolutely stunning wine, which we are very proud to include on our list.
